Someone’s undegrad project?

Im looking for a piece of software that will allow me to split tiny peices of a long audio file into short ones. This software is not it, despite the compelling description. You can’t create a region shorter than half a second. You can’t zoom the waveform display for increased accuracy, and you can’t even resize the window. A- effort for a college project, but not useful software. Spend your time elsewhere.
